This Accounting Supervisor will support merchandising margin for the pharmaceutical distribution business. Ideal candidate will be based in the greater Columbus area with the ability to work a hybrid schedule, coming into the Dublin, OH office one day a week.
What General Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health
General Accounting is responsible for maintaining the financial books and records and preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
Responsible for month-end close of Merch Margin accounting group
Responsible for monthly audit of GWSA rebates
ASC 606 revenue recognition
First-level review of Merch Margin balance sheet reconciliations
Manage team of three employees
Responsible for answering questions and assisting in resolving issues
Maintain SOP's for Merch Margin area
Ensure compliance with Merch Margin SOX requirements
Other duties as needed
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
3+ years corporate and/or public accounting experience in related field, preferred
Prior supervisory experience
CPA preferred
