We are hiring for an Executive Assistant position, supporting the Chief Administrative Officer at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Kodiak, AK!



Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm AKT, 40 hours per week; with flexibility for occasional afterhours support per business needs, such as community events, etc.

The Executive Administrative Assistant under minimal supervision applies significant discretion and judgment in providing advanced administrative and project management support directly to and on behalf of the Administrator, Executive Team, and Servant Leadership Team in accordance with Providence philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards. The Executive Assistant is responsible for the coordination of business activities to include Contract Management while maintaining confidentiality when working with proprietary and sensitive information that often requires coordination across departments, senior management, Region and System executives and external contacts. Fosters change and teamwork to ensure constructive relationships and growth while maintaining a positive and professional image when interacting with patients, their families, physicians, employees and general public.

Required Qualifications:




  • 5 years of Progressive experience managing office administrative functions, projects, and/or liaison for executive level management.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 1 year of Experience in a medical setting with experience in medical terminology.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
