Tax Accounting & Forecasting - Tax Manager
The Tax Manager in Tax Accounting & Forecasting will lead key workstreams within the quarterly taxable income projections process for the US Firms Tax ("USFT") organization. In this role, the Manager supports increased transparency and visibility into the taxable income of the Deloitte US Firms for Partners, Principals, and US Firms leadership.

Work you'll do
This role is responsible for driving day-to-day execution for assigned components of the forecasting cycle-coordinating inputs, performing analyses, ensuring documentation and controls are completed, and producing review-ready deliverables. The Manager works closely with the senior manager and PPMD for the forecasting and analytics function to surface risks early, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and deliver timely, high-quality outputs that support executive governance and decision-making.
Lead assigned components of quarterly taxable income forecasting

The Team
Deloitte Services LP includes internal support areas such as Finance and Administration, Talent, Information Technology, Marketing and Communications, and Facilities Management. This Tax Accounting & Forecasting Senior Tax Accountant role is part of our internal USFT team which is a subset of our Finance and Administration group. The USFT team is responsible for setting the tax policy for the Deloitte US Firms in the US and other countries where it has operations, as well as for all the domestic and foreign compliance for the Deloitte US Firms' entities.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Taxation
CPA, Enrolled Agent or other relevant certification
Five (5)+ years of relevant experience in tax, finance, accounting, analytics, or related roles
Experience leading complex, deadline-driven workstreams with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
Advanced degree
Experience with ASC 740 concepts and/or forecasting in complex environments
Experience improving recurring processes through standardization, automation, analytics, and reporting tools
Comfort influencing in a matrixed organization and facilitating alignment across stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with experience building and reviewing models/schedules used for estimates and forecasts
Strong documentation discipline and control-minded execution (auditability, traceability, version control)
Experience reviewing junior team members' work and providing clear, actionable coaching
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready summarization
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,600 to $200,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
