Tax Accounting & Forecasting - Senior Tax Accountant
The Senior Tax Accountant in Tax Accounting & Forecasting will support the US Firms Tax ("USFT") quarterly taxable income forecasting process by preparing analyses and workpapers, validating and reconciling data, and contributing to deliverables that enhance transparency and visibility for Partners, Principals, and US Firms leadership.

The Team
Deloitte Services LP includes internal support areas such as Finance and Administration, Talent, Information Technology, Marketing and Communications, and Facilities Management. This Tax Accounting & Forecasting Senior Tax Accountant role is part of our internal USFT team which is a subset of our Finance and Administration group. The USFT team is responsible for setting the tax policy for the Deloitte US Firms in the US and other countries where it has operations, as well as for all the domestic and foreign compliance for the Deloitte US Firms' entities.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Taxation
Eligible for CPA, Enrolled Agent, or other relevant certification
Three (3)+ years of relevant experience in tax, finance, accounting, analytics, or related roles
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
Advanced degree
Exposure to corporate tax, tax accounting, and/or financial reporting
Experience with reconciliations, documentation standards, and quality review practices
Interest in automation/analytics and improving recurring processe
Strong Excel proficiency and comfort working with large datasets and recurring workpapers
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a cycle-based environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with ability to summarize analysis for reviewers
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute within structured processes and controls
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400 to $142,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
