SJECCD is comprised of Evergreen Valley College, San José City College, and the San José – Evergreen Community College Extension at Milpitas. The District partners with local school districts to support student success and workforce development initiatives.
This is a temporary, on-site role for an Custodian at San José – Evergreen Community College District, located at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, CA which starts ASAP.
The Custodian, performs a wide variety of custodial, maintenance, and moving tasks in the care, cleaning and setup of assigned classrooms, offices and facilities and keep them in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition. Schedule: hours and days will vary Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 4:00 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.Hours/Days will vary from Monday-Friday from 4pm to 12:30am.
Qualifications
Completion of formal or informal education which assures the ability to read, write and speak at the level sufficient for successful job performance
Two years of administrative (clerical) experience involving heavy public contact and primary support to an individual or department
Experience in custodial services and work
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Prior experience in an educational environment is a plus
