Cardiology Attending Physician
NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center, is seeking a full-time Cardiology Attending Physician to join our progressive and team-oriented Medicine Division at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center. Located in the heart of North Brooklyn, Woodhull is a 310-bed Level II Trauma Center and a vital part of the NYC Health + Hospitals network, serving the diverse communities of Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Greenpoint.
Position Overview:
The Cardiology Attending will provide expert clinical care, participate in quality improvement initiatives, support academic and research efforts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance cardiovascular medicine at Woodhull.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality cardiovascular care in inpatient and outpatient settings
Collaborate with hospital leadership and colleagues to improve cardiology services
Participate in teaching and mentoring of fellows, residents, and medical students
Engage in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities
Contribute to clinical research and academic initiatives
Support expansion and innovation in cardiology services
Qualifications:
Candidate must be Board Eligible or Certified in Cardiology
Valid NY medical license or eligibility to obtain
Strong clinical expertise and commitment to patient-centered care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The annual base salary offered for this role is $322,000-$332,000
· 403B/457 participation inclusive of a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required.
· Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement ranging from $3000-$3500 inclusive of one week of paid CME time
· Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 contingent upon meeting required productivity and compliance metrics
