Supporting the design, implementation, and enhancement of technology-enabled solutions for global mobility, business travel, and remote work compliance programs
Gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional needs for digital tools, workflows, and reporting solutions
Coordinating with client stakeholders, internal tax professionals, and technology teams to support delivery of project milestones and work products
Analyzing workforce, compliance, and process data to identify issues, support reporting, and improve operational efficiency
Assisting with testing, issue resolution, process documentation, and deployment activities for new and updated technology solutions

At Deloitte Tax LLP, our Global Employer Services (GES) Technology Group consultants help multinational clients develop programs, processes and digital offerings to manage a global workforce and the compliance obligations arising from global mobility, business travel and remote working. People within our technology group come from a diverse background - they partner with our go-to-market teams and global clients to solve challenging problems and design experiences and products that anticipate what our Deloitte clients will want and also solutions that keep them compliant with global and local regulations.
Qualifications
Required:
Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field
3+ years of relevant experience in data management consulting or industry roles, with focus in data governance, data modeling, data standards, metadata, and data quality, plus hands-on data modeling experience including conceptual, logical, and physical models as well as applying data modeling techniques (entity-relationship, star/snowflake schemas, and 3rd normal form)
Demonstrated experience using data modeling tools such as Erwin, Lucid or Visio
Demonstrated experience in data governance work including data definitions, standards, metadata, lineage, data quality, stewardship and ownership
Demonstrated experience leading workstreams for data management engagements with teams distributed across multiple locations, including and facilitating cross-functional workshops with business stakeholders, technology and architecture teams to gather requirements and define data models
Experience gathering business requirements and documenting workflows, functional needs, or user stories
Experience supporting testing, issue tracking, and deployment activities for technology solutions
Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

Data management and enterprise architecture (DAMA, CDMP, TOGAF)
Data platform specialist (Databricks Data Engineer Associate/Professional, SnowPro Core and SnowPro Advanced Architecture for Snowflake)
Generative AI (AWS AI Practitioner, AWS Generative AI Developer Professional, NVIDIA Generative AI LLMs and Databricks Generative AI Associate)
Agentic AI (NVIDIA Certified Professional: Agentic AI LLMs
Relevant industry certification such as Project Management (PMP)
Six Sigma (Black Belt)
Preferred:
Experience with data governance disciplines such as metadata management, lineage, stewardship, data quality, and policy management.
Demonstrated experience with metadata management and data lineage tools.
Experience with defining semantic layers for analytics and agentic AI use cases.
Hands on experience with Data Management and Data Engineering
Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance considerations in data environments.
Exposure to defining and implementing data products within data catalog and marketplace.
Exposure to cloud-based data lakes and warehouse technologies (Apache Iceberg, Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake)
Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading enterprise-wide initiatives.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of data professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $96,450 to $131,125.
